Los Angeles permitting can become a project of its own. We can help prepare residential permit drawings and coordinating projects through the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS), including remodels, additions, ADUs, and new construction.

Early in a project we look at zoning, allowable area and setbacks, existing permit records, building code requirements, Wildland Urban Interface and potential issues that could affect the design. As the project develops, we coordinate architectural drawings with structural engineering, energy requirements, and other consultants so the permit set is complete and coordinated before submittal.

We are familiar with the LADBS plan check process, ePlanLA submittals, responding to plan check corrections, and coordinating required clearances with Los Angeles City Planning and other agencies.
